Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist with gear cutting expertise to join our dynamic team in Egham. This is a full time, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up CNC machines for gear cutting and other machining operations
  • Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work meets required specifications
  • Carry out inspections to ensure parts are produced to high-quality standards
  • Maintain and ensure proper operation of CNC equipment
  • Work to tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
  • Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on gear cutting
  • Proficient in operating CNC machinery (including Mills, Lathes, and Gear Cutting Machines)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
