Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist with gear cutting expertise to join our dynamic team in Egham. This is a full time, permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC machines for gear cutting and other machining operations
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work meets required specifications
- Carry out inspections to ensure parts are produced to high-quality standards
- Maintain and ensure proper operation of CNC equipment
- Work to tight tolerances and deadlines
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on gear cutting
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery (including Mills, Lathes, and Gear Cutting Machines)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
