Data Analyst

CantelloTayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our client based in Egham, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful Data Analyst will be responsible for:

  • To provide specialist HR data reporting / analysis and project support to the HR Director and the wider business ensuring effective data collection, analysis and reporting on confidential HR data according to agreed time lines.
  • Develop and maintain an effective reporting suite alongside a pan-EMEA dashboard for comprehensive analytics and metrics to support the HR strategy and drive a high-performance culture
  • Able to trouble shoot data and reports, highlighting issues and making recommendations to address and determine priorities
  • Provide analysis support for ongoing monitoring of all key HR and Reward metrics.
  • Manage the data for the annual pay and monthly business processes including benchmarking, analytics reporting and modelling
  • Compile and maintain the EMEA compensation database, capturing monthly data from respective payrolls and verifying ongoing data points.
  • Provide appropriate cycle of weekly / monthly / quarterly HR reports and compensation reports to support HR business and strategic understanding in areas of cost management, current engagement and tenure.
  • Develop and provide insight / recommendations for business modelling enhancement based on commercial application.
  • Manage salary survey participation and maintain up to date benchmarking database as well as analysing results to retain and maintain the Company’s competitive position.
  • Perform confidential compensation research, compile and evaluate data and make recommendations to appropriate individuals
  • Initiate analysis of information held in PeopleSoft to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Performs data extracts, generates reports and complies information for other Executive Managers as required
  • Provide information for presentations to EMEA leadership team
  • Interface with relevant departments; have a clear understanding of systems, processes and data points and utilise to support line managers key initiatives
  • Compile time and attendance reports in order to support business activities and support performance / productivity metrics.
  • Manage monthly executive reports as required by head office

The Data Analyst will have:

  • Five to ten years’ experience working with data within a commercial environment
  • Ability to multi task and remain proactive outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills whilst retaining

confidentiality

  • High order of literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills, the Microsoft Office suite of software - Advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to work under pressure and to set deadlines
