Join a forward-thinking logistics company that specialises in global freight solutions. We are looking for an Ocean Import Coordinator to become an integral part of our team, helping deliver smooth and efficient import services to our clients.

As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will oversee the entire ocean import process, ensuring goods move from international origins to their destinations on time and in compliance with all regulations. You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, customs officials, and internal teams to ensure a seamless import operation.

Responsibilities:

Customs Clearance:

  • Manage customs clearance through the Customs Declaration Service (CDS), ensuring full compliance with regulations.

Documentation:

  • Review and prepare all necessary import documentation.

Shipment Monitoring:

  • Track shipments from start to finish and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Client Communication:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents throughout the import process.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address any shipment issues or delays, delivering excellent customer service at every step.

Record Keeping:

  • Ensure accurate records of all shipment details and related documentation.

Client Support:

  • Respond to client inquiries and keep them informed on the status of their shipments.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
