Profile:

Abbatt are currently seeking a Day Concierge to work on behalf of an well established and prestigious firm. The primary function of the role is to fulfil the day-to-day needs of the residents living at and to facilitate seamless and practical solutions to any resident's problems or requirements. In addition, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the estate including security and administration duties.

Responsibilities:

  • To man the reception desk during agreed hours
  • To provide/ facilitate required services to residents as per the instructions of managing agent
  • To respond proactively to resident or other requests in a timely and polite manner
  • To communicate effectively with residents, guests, other members of staff and contractors
  • To welcome residents and guests
  • To answer the telephone and deal with general enquiries, logging messages and following up on requests & events
  • To receive, log, and distribute mail/ other deliveries to individual properties
  • To oversee the cleanliness and comfort of the reception areas and associated common parts
  • Security Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the residential site to deter and detect any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying the identity of residents, visitors, and service personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
  • CCTV Surveillance: Utilise surveillance systems effectively to monitor the premises and respond promptly to any unusual incidents or security concerns.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond swiftly and efficiently to emergencies, accidents, or medical incidents, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
  • Customer Service & Concierge Duties: Provide a high level of customer service and act as a courteous concierge when interacting with residents, visitors, and vendors.
  • Incident Reporting: Accurately document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift and provide detailed reports to the management team.
  • Fire Safety: Familiarise yourself with fire safety procedures and be ready to initiate emergency evacuations when required.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments of the premises and suggest security enhancements or improvements to prevent potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other security team members and communicate effectively with other on-site personnel.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and security regulations

Additional Duties

  • To assist the estate team with security duties, when required
  • To assist with daily administration and office tasks
  • To perform any necessary porter duties which may include, but are not limited to, carrying luggage / packages for residents, running errands (where cover is available) and light cleaning duties as and when required
  • To assist the estate team in monitoring the presence of workmen working within the estate and supervising their activities to ensure minimum disturbance to residents
  • To assist in co-ordination access to the estate and monitor and react to alarms as appropriate
  • To assist in the logging and reporting of any maintenance requirements or incidents using the appropriate procedure, informing the managing agent as quickly as possible
  • To assist in the reporting and monitoring of Health & Safety issues to ensure a safe environment is maintained for all
  • To assist the estate team in inspections of the estate and common parts
  • To assist with the coordination of waste collection from individual properties Services

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in Hospitality sector as "Front of House
  • Experience of Facilities Management an advantage service
