Ocean Freight Account Manager/Administrator - Hybrid working in either Egham, Hook or Southampton!

About the Role:

TLP Recruitment is partnering with a global logistics leader to find a talentedOcean Freight Account Manager/Administratorto join their growing team. This role is ahybrid role and can be based either in their Egham, Hook or Southampton office.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role and contribute to the expansion of their ocean freight division.

Their is an amazing career progression plan for the right individual which will include developing the Ocean Freight division and growing a team around them.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage theday-to-day bookingsof worldwide freight shipments
  • Invoice completed jobs
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers,both verbally and via email
  • Collaborate with the sales team,providing quotations and service updates
  • Create job files and necessary paperwork
  • Process jobs using the in-house software system
  • Handle customs entries for all goods

What You'll Need:

  • Approximately5 years of experience in ocean freight
  • Strong knowledge ofimport and export ocean freight procedures
  • Experience withcustoms entries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary of£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Flexible start times, typically 8am - 4:30pm
  • Hybrid workingarrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
  • Base location ineither Egham, Hook or Southampton
