Warehouse & Furniture FitterEgham, driving within M25£30K - £32K per annum

My client is seeking a warehouse operative and furniture fitter to join their team in Egham. You will be responsible for a range of duties which includes working within the warehouse, delivering and fitting the furniture.You will:

  • Book in all incoming stock and store within a safe manner
  • Pick & pack operations for all accounts - to ensure that all goods are picked correctly and packed suitable for transportation
  • Load/unload vehicles
  • Ensure the warehouse and work vehicle are kept tidy and clean. Report when an issue arises (vehicle problems/maintenance)
  • Maintain the security within the Warehouse, ensuring it is secure when unattended
  • Assist in all warehouse duties
  • Redistribute the stock into the correct locations
  • Deliver and collect furniture from local destinations
  • Installation of furniture on site as and when required
  • Book in all arrivals and fill out warehouse slips with full details before handing over to the wider teams
  • Keep warehouse tidy and presentable
  • Work and collaborate well with clients when they visit the warehouse
  • Update the operations team with stock control and any damaged goods

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of working within a warehouse
  • Have 3PL experience
  • Be able to work under pressure, multitask and work to deadlines
  • Be willing to go the extra mile by starting early / finishing late when required
  • Have a Forklift license
  • Ideally have a full, clean UK driving license
  • Work with a positive and confident approach
  • Be a strong communicator, both verbally and written

Working hours are 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, between 7am to 7pm.
