Whilst a mature business, from a procurement perspective, they are still maturing as a function, so this individual will be central to continuing this journey as a leader within the team. There are plenty of exciting, large-scale, complex IT procurement projects to get involved in, with the business just coming off the back of a global technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the software category strategy for enterprise-level purchases, including SaaS, cloud, and on-premise solutions.
  • Negotiate multi-year, high-value contracts with Tier 1 technology providers such as Salesforce, Oracle, and ServiceNow, managing contracts exceeding 拢100 million in lifecycle value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, serving as the primary liaison for strategic discussions and performance reviews, including regular QBRs.
  • Drive third-party risk management and champion compliance with supplier diversity and procurement policies.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders to align procurement strategies with the organisation's broader business goals and technology roadmap.
  • Explore market opportunities to optimise spend, achieve cost savings, and deliver long-term value.
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from supplier onboarding to offboarding, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and best practices.
  • Lead supplier performance management, driving continuous improvement and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
  • Manage a team of 2 which in time will grow as the function continues to.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven Experience: At least 10 years of procurement and sourcing experience, with a focus on enterprise software and global-scale contracts.
  • Expert Negotiator: Demonstrated ability to negotiate large-scale deals with Tier 1 technology providers. You must have experience with Salesforce and understand their licensing etc. Otherwise Oracle, Microsoft and ServiceNow would be a nice to have. You must have led the management of contracts exceeding 拢100 million in lifecycle value.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional influencing skills, with experience engaging and aligning with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise software categories, including SaaS, cloud, and data privacy/security considerations.
  • Vendor Management: 7+ years of experience in managing vendor relationships, driving continuous improvement, and delivering value through supplier partnerships.
  • Project Management: Excellent organisational skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects across global teams.
  • Management experience - Team of 2 that will grow over time
