Our client is looking for a candidate who is driven, has good common sense and the ability to multi taskSome communication with global suppliers means that the ideal person needs to have good confidence and a mature attitude.Some of the duties include:Organise material testing where required i.e.: non-destructive testing of material and obtaining certification. Quality control product to original drawings or pattern to an extremely high standard Identify and approve the use of alternative and superseded parts with the assistance of the factory and in-house information systems and personnel.Provide technical support to customers and liaison with suppliers and staff To ensure adherence to product liability issues.Ensure all work is completed safely, promptly and on a consistent basisPick parts to make kits or for identification purposes from main stock, following in-house guidelines Help to achieve industry-leading standards of process, efficiency and cost control Checking and unpacking of parts, reporting damage, shortage, and repack parts Identify existing stock that can be adapted to provide a satisfactory replacement as an alternative part.
