Warehouse OperativeEgham£25K - £28K per annum

My client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team in Egham. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be supporting with the day-to-day warehouse and forklift operations for all freight & stock arrivals and departures. You will:

Maintain a safe working environment
Ensure all equipment and areas of the warehouse are clean, tidy and orderly
Carry out daily checks on all mechanical equipment to ensure they are safe to use
Assist with load and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods
Ensure the inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
Report quality variances to the Warehouse Manager
Raise concerns/issues with Warehouse Manager as soon as they are noted
Book in of all incoming stock and storing in a safe manner
Pick and prepare products for shipping, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Keep the warehouse secure, reporting any discrepancy in stock to the Warehouse Manager
Assist in all warehouse roles
Support with ad hoc driving of company van for local deliveries and collections
Create and process orders on the database

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience within a Warehouse role
Have good I.T Skills
Have previous experience on 3PL
Have a reach and counterbalance experience
Have a full clean driving license
Have a full Forklift license
Be a strong team player
Work well independently
Work well within a fast-paced environment
Have good numerical skills

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
