What’s the Role?

As a Process Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring maximum output of quality products from the moulding areas. Your primary focus will be on maintaining efficiency, achieving targets, and supporting process improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing safety checks to schedule for the department.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Setting and running moulding machines to optimise quality and output.
  • Conducting job changes, including colour, material, and label changes.
  • Carrying out quality checks and ensuring waste is minimised.
  • Supporting performance data collection and analysis.
  • Identifying faults and driving process improvements.
  • Preventing breakdowns and damage through basic preventive maintenance and good practices.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards around machines to meet quality requirements.
  • Completing tool changes as required.
  • Reporting issues affecting machine performance, safety, efficiency, and quality to supervisors or managers.
  • Cycle time optimisation to improve production performance.
  • Tool cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Participating in improvement projects and Kaizen events across the site.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical experience in setting and running moulding machines.
  • Strong understanding of fault finding and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of cycle time optimisation and preventive maintenance practices.
  • A collaborative attitude to work well with supervisors, managers, and team members.
