Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of our established and exclusive clients based near Aberlour and Elgin for a permanent Payroll Assistant. This is a newly created role due to company growth and offers a salary of £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience. This is an office-based role working 35 hours per week. Your new roleReporting to the Payroll Manager, you will complete a variety of payroll responsibilities. You will assist with the processing of a large weekly payroll. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Collating timesheet data & inputting payroll data- Dealing with pay queries- Assisting with the end-to-end processing of a large weekly payroll- Supporting with new starts and leavers and leavers- Preparing payroll reports for management- Analysing payroll data and checking for variances- General administrative duties within payroll & HR department as required - Any other duties as requestedWhat you'll need to succeedYou will have knowledge and experience in payroll processing. You will have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel. You must be able to work accurately to tight deadlines.
