We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant with a minimum of 18 months of experience working with management accounts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in prepayments and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and have a solid understanding of the accounting function.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process prepayments and accruals.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and associated reporting.
  • Enter journals on the General Ledger and maintain it.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Support month-end duties and ensure timely closure of accounts.
  • Assist with coding and inputting Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Check bank reconciliations and manage month-end Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Take responsibility for key tasks within the accounts department.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in management accounts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy with the ability to be efficient and accurate.
  • Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • A highly organised and focused working style.
  • Exposure to and understanding of prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
