Job Title: Internal Sales Engineer
Weare looking for an Internal Sales Engineer with Power Transmission experience to work as part of our Sales Team at our Elland office in the UK. This is an office based position.
Job Description
Based at our Elland sales office you will be a key member of our internal sales team, acting as first point of contact for telephone enquiries, providing quotations and technical assistance for our OEM, end-user, and distributor base.
Role
The internal sales role will suit a motivated individual and basic duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing quotations through our cloud based CRM system
- Providing internal sales support to the external Account Managers
- Offering product assistance and technical support to our worldwide customer base
- Making product selections based on customer requirements and application details
- Ensuring all quotations are completed in line with KPI target lead times
- Entering orders on the Oracle ERP system
- Progress chasing of outstanding orders
Requirements
You will have a technical mindset and be experienced within an engineering environment, ideally power transmission. You will also have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good telephone manner
- Previous experience in a technical sales office
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Computer literacy is essential with experience of Microsoft applications
