Fantastic opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a growing firm based in Elland. Experience in an accountancy practice would be a great fit for the role or bookkeepers from industry who have cloud accounting experience.
You will be joining the bookkeeping department and you will support with bookkeeping duties and VAT returns.
Requirements of the role:
- Experienced in the use of Sage, QuickBooks, and/or Xero would be beneficial.
- Able to process transactions into accountancy software accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in preparing bank reconciliations and control accounts.
- Experience in preparing and submitting VAT returns with knowledge of VAT Regulations and MTD.
- To actively support and co-operate with other members of the team.
- Able to work to deadlines and handle several tasks at once, independently prioritising workflow.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Confident, motivated and with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
To be considered you should have at least 2 years of UK bookkeeping experience from an accountancy practice, or from a similar role in industry. Suitable for AAT qualified candidates or qualified by experience.
