Our client:

Our client specialise in the supply and installation of process engineering equipment into the pharma, food and beverage industries. They offer a full turnkey solution, full project management to installation & handover, across the UK.

They are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, for an initial 3-month contract, with the strong likelihood of extension due to upcoming project wins.

For the position of Project Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

  • Reporting to the Engineering Director with project updates and any issues where necessary, raising snags as early as possible
  • Full project lifecycle, including producing quotations, costs & estimates, and managing budgets & commercials
  • Keep a close eye on finances & schedules
  • Make sure the projects are completed on time
  • Chairing project meetings
  • Liaising with all internal teams to ensure timescales and plans are being adhered
  • Managing multiple projects with a value ranging from £200k up to £3million
  • Managing customers daily to ensure their requirements are met

The successful Project Manager, will need to have the following attributes:

  • Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Engineering (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience with process engineering, preferably food / beverage industries
  • A strong communicator, leader, organised, flexible mindset, strive for excellence
  • Strong background in costing & estimating jobs
  • Highly fluent I.T. skills – working on Microsoft Office packages & Outlook
  • Flexible to work in the office, and travel to customer sites when required
