As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will work closely with senior members of the team to deliver a range of services to clients, including accounts preparation, VAT returns, and tax computations. This role will suit someone who is looking to advance their skills, deepen their knowledge, and progress within a dynamic environment. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of client sectors and will be encouraged to take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop, fully supported by your managers and mentors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of accounts for a variety of clients
  • Assisting with VAT returns and tax computations
  • Supporting senior staff
  • Liaising with clients to handle queries and support needs
  • Training clients on the use of accountancy software as required

Requirements

  • Part-qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Experience in preparing accounts and handling tax/VAT matters
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
