Are you a commercially focused finance professional looking to make a real impact? We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant OR Management Accountant to join a dynamic and diverse business based in Ellesmere Port. This role offers fantastic exposure to key stakeholders and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Provide detailed financial analysis on revenue and costs to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the annual budget and monthly forecasting process.
- Partner with department heads to review financial performance and provide insightful reporting.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting tools to support budget holders in managing costs and revenue.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Support process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified, part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large data sets.
- Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
