Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a top 100 Accountancy Practice located in Derby, who are now seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a competitive starting salary along with an excellent benefits scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a growing, forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be responsible preparing year-end financial statements and management accounts, calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities, build and maintain client relationships as well as mentoring junior members of staff.



Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

  • Assist Senior Accountants and Managers in providing exceptional service to our clients.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements and management accounts to support clients in reaching their objectives.
  • Calculate corporate and personal tax liabilities, offering tax planning strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients.
  • Provide training and support to clients in using Xero.
  • Collaborate with managers and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Consistently impress clients by understanding their business and delivering an outstanding experience.
  • Mentor and develop accounting trainees.


Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

  • Be part-qualified, working towards your ACA / ACCA, with practice experience.
  • Knowledge of CCH is desirable
  • Live within a commutable distance from Ellesmere Port
