RPS are working with an international aerospace manufacturer who are looking to grow their current team in the North West by 50% over the next 12 months, following a series of new contract wins. As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to work from their facility on the Wirral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support New Product Introduction
  • Compile FAIR documentation AS9102
  • Create Inspection Plan
  • Support FMEA
  • Compile concessions
  • Action Customer Returns
  • NCR & MRB control
  • 8D, PFMEA, PSCA/Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure close out of relevant RCCA
  • Review Specifications
  • Setup/Control Quality Report databases
  • To support the Quality Manager in various tasks

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification
  • Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP
  • Ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001
  • Ability to implement Quality Systems and databases including process, flow charts and SPC
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques
  • Computer literate (Excel proficient)
  • Experience within composite manufacturing (Desirable)
