Sonic Summary
- RPS is partnering with an international aerospace manufacturer in the North West seeking to expand their team by 50% over the next year due to new contract wins.
- They are looking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer for their facility on the Wirral.
- The role requires a degree or HNC in Engineering and/or an equivalent professional qualification, along with a working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP.
- Candidates should have the ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001 and implement Quality Systems, with experience in continuous improvement techniques being desirable.
- The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have relevant experience in the aerospace sector.
As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to work from their facility on the Wirral.
Key Responsibilities:
Support New Product Introduction
Compile FAIR documentation AS9102
Create Inspection Plan
Support FMEA
Compile concessions
Action Customer Returns
NCR & MRB control
8D, PFMEA, PSCA/Continuous Improvement
Ensure close out of relevant RCCA
Review Specifications
Setup/Control Quality Report databases
To support the Quality Manager in various tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification
Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP
Ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001
Ability to implement Quality Systems and databases including process, flow charts and SPC
Experience with continuous improvement techniques
Computer literate (Excel proficient)
Experience within composite manufacturing (Desirable)
