ONGOING CONTRACT - STARTS 10TH NOVEMBER
Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Ellesmere Port. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with days and nights available. Please note this is 7 weeks work starting on 10th November 2024
Pay rates PAYE* £14.50/h days* £16.00/h nights* £16.50/h Saturday* £17.50/h SundayPay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):* £16.25/h days* £17.93/h nights* £18.49/h Saturday* £19.61/h Sunday
Key Responsibilities:* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.Requirements:* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.* Experience in general haulage* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.REFER A FRIEND, GET £200 *T&C apply, ask for details.Why Temp with Search?Search Drivers receive many benefits including- Uniform & introduction Driver pack (High Viz, Clipboard, stationary)- Flexible option to "bank" their holiday pay OR Add it to your hourly rate- Pension with Nest PensionsThe search driving team has got over 15 years experience, winning awards yearly.
