Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver in Ellesmere Port for a multi-drop position. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation.Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensuring it is in good working order before each shift
• Safely and accurately loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Planning routes and ensuring efficient delivery of goods
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Communicating with dispatch to provide updates on delivery progress
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner

• Hold a valid Class 2 driver's license ( 2 years min please )
• Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in a multi-drop role
• Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
• Excellent understanding of local traffic laws and regulations
• Strong organisational skills and ability to plan routes effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items as required

PAYMin of 10 hours a day paid £15.89 before 10 hours - £17.72 pay after 10 hours work.
