People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Ellesmere Port.

Day to Day Duties

• This is a predominantly driving-focused role involving depot-to-depot runs with 1-2 drops per shift
• Enjoy minimal manual handling and a steady, reliable driving schedule
• Safely operate a Class 1 (CE) vehicle for scheduled depot-to-depot trunking runs
• Ensure secure transportation of goods with no damage during transit
• Perform pre- and post-vehicle checks
• Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and logbooks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding road safety
• Maintain effective communication with the transport office regarding updates or delays

Essential Skills

• A minimum of two years driving a Class 1vehicle
• A valid Class 1 (CE) Licence
• Valid CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN convictions)
• A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
