What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work safely, reporting any issues that may impact safety.
- Follow our SOPs and use PPE appropriately.
- Operate and monitor heavy machinery to meet daily production targets.
- Perform basic maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Carry out site clean-up duties, including walkways, rest areas, weighbridge, and vehicle routes.
- Conduct daily defect checks on Mobile and Fixed plants (Baler, Shredder, etc.).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve issues.
- Undertake tasks as directed by the Shift Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with heavy machinery (granulators, shredders) – desirable but not essential.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative.
- Basic maintenance experience – desirable but not essential.
- Experience using Telehandlers and FLTs – desirable (training provided).
- An in-date FLT license is essential.
- Positive "can-do" attitude and flexible approach to tasks.
