The role
As an E&I Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the UK, where you will liaise closely with the project team to help ensure a clear and consistent approach to all work carried out throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all health and safety processes are effectively carried out!

Your duties and responsibilities will be 

  • As an E&I Project Manager, you will be providing Health and Safety leadership by example, through communication, compliance monitoring and shared learning.
  • Working closely with the Project Team to ensure a clear and consistent approach to all work carried out.
  • Production of E&I estimates within the customer-owned database.
  • Management of change - cost variation and schedule.
  • Ensuring standard project control management is adopted for the project, monitoring KPI’s and compliance of procedures.
  • Setting and managing achievable goals and targets for the site team.
  • Ensuring project personnel in your team are competent.
  • Accountable for the quality of work delivered by your team/department.
  • Input to the management of and delivery of labour resource and materials for the contract.
  • Co-ordination of vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
  • Contributing to meetings/presentations/reviews (formal and informal) with the Project/Site Stakeholders for the effective communication and monitoring of progress.
  • Ensuring all project controls meet or exceed the project Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience

  • A proven track record in managing projects within the process industries.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage change and ensure compliance with project procedures.
  • A good understanding of project controls and KPI’s.
  • The ability to manage labour resources and materials for the contract.
  • The ability to coordinate vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments.

  • HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • COMPEX.
  • APM P.
