Prospero Teaching is excited to partner with a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port to find an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in daily activities and classroom management.
- Provide personalised and group support to students with additional needs.
- Prepare and organise instructional materials and resources.
- Deliver targeted assistance to help all students thrive academically.
- Actively participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, but not essential as Safeguarding training will be provided).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
- Provide a minimum of two professional references.
