Prospero Teaching is excited to partner with a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port to find an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in daily activities and classroom management.
  • Provide personalised and group support to students with additional needs.
  • Prepare and organise instructional materials and resources.
  • Deliver targeted assistance to help all students thrive academically.
  • Actively participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, but not essential as Safeguarding training will be provided).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references.
