Business Administrator - Ellesmere Port - £27,000 to £30,000 – Site Based

The Business:
A manufacturing company in Ellesmere Port. Fast-paced, always moving, and they need someone to keep up. They have heavily invested in the site, expanding their production capabilities which is where you come in. They need a Business Administrator who’ll be the backbone of the operations team, handling everything from raising purchase orders to keeping tabs on payroll.
Here’s what you’ll actually be doing:
- Handling the purchase ledger and keeping raw materials/stock orders up to date.
- Raising POs when the Buyer, Production Planner, or Site Services Manager needs them.
- Sorting out invoice queries (bonus points if you know how to handle credit notes).
- Managing the time and attendance system, logging hours, and making sure payroll runs smoothly.
- Taking care of all the holiday, sickness, and absence tracking for the team.
What we’re looking for:
- You’re the kind of person who’s been in admin roles for at least 3 years, preferably in a fast-paced environment. You’re organized, sharp, and don’t need to be micromanaged.
- You know your way around Excel and Outlook (we’re talking intermediate level, not just basics).
- Numeracy and literacy aren’t just buzzwords to you—you’ve got both covered.
- You can communicate clearly and keep things moving without dropping the ball.
