Reporting to the Managing Director, the Inventory Control Manager is responsible on overseeing stock control and the timely procurement from our production facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, coordinating the production process, and maintaining accurate records of all supply chain. THE ROLE:Stock Control:
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on stock levels, production output, and asset utilisation.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for optimising inventory levels.
As this is a new role there will be some process integration with the sales team during training and during holiday cover. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience in asset management, stock control, and production management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and production processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Customer-Focused and understands the importance of customer satisfaction and strives to ensure that inventory and asset management supports this goal.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions
SALARY & BENEFITS:
  • £32,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience
