Our client is looking for a new Manufacturing Manager to join their team. They would like a Manufacturing Manager with previous experience within the heavy manufacturing industry to manage the daily operations teams and develop relationships with clients to deliver to customer expectations on time in full.
Our client designs, manufacturers and distributes their products to over 19 different countries around the globe. They have a growing team and looking to make a hire as soon as possible!
Manufacturing Manager Job Responsibilities:
Ensure top performance in People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Foster a problem-solving culture within the operations team.
Promote a lean culture throughout the business.
Lead the operations team and build strong client relationships to meet customer expectations, ensuring timely and complete deliveries.
Uphold the company's quality standards and health and safety practices in operational areas.
Assist with recruiting and training operational staff.
Maintain excellent communication within the operations teams.
Oversee material orders, manage supplier relationships, and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and parts for smooth operations.
Manufacturing Manager Desired Attributes:
Background in engineering operations or manufacturing, with lean certification and relevant qualifications.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma, quality systems, welding, maintenance, and powder coating, with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications.
Strong in operations, production planning, and cross-disciplinary management, with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
Skilled in automotive or aerospace metal finishing, welding, and team leadership.
Proven ability to develop talent, build high-performance teams, and improve organizational performance (KPIs).
Experienced in metal finishing processes, welding (MIG & TIG), and proficient in Microsoft Office.
