Are you an experienced Operations Manager?Do you have Industrial / Process Engineering or distribution experience?Have you managed transformation in a previous role?Our client are looking for someone with the above skills and experience with trade unions.The company is a global manufacturer and distributer of Bitumen products, any experience in petroleum or chemical processing is highly advantageous.The role involves providing strong leadership to managers and staff, driving improvements, managing technical projects, and fostering the development of both sites and employees. The manager will also be responsible for the financial budget of the operations and maintaining active communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Operations Director in SwedenCore Duties• Directly supervises the Wirral and Dundee Depot managers.• Manages and oversees audits, legal compliance, risk assessments, and energy contracts for Dundee.• Handles incident reporting and investigations and maintains and updates site permits.• Liaises internally with relevant UK departments and the wider Group, and externally with contractors, suppliers, utility and service providers, including engineering maintenance and calibration.• Provides routine communications, reporting, analysis, and performance metrics to the UK Senior Management Team and Operations Director.• Ensures maintenance is performed, and monitors and reports in support of compliance with the Energy Management Policy, energy management objectives, and the site's commitment to Sustainable Development.• Ensure all operational services are delivered safely and in compliance with at least minimum requirements.• Manage and minimize costs effectively to meet the level of service required by the business.• Act as the Management Representative for energy-related compliance • Attend and contribute to UK HSSEQ meetings and carry out designated safety and workplace inspections.• Support the development and oversee the implementation of UK Operations CAPEX projects.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
