Hexagon Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client located at Ellesmere Port for the position of a: Electrical Mechanical Engineer This Job role is working on Days to start whilst training to the site Health & Safety requirements then will move to a shift working pattern. Job role: Maintain and repair a wide range of industrial recycling processing equipment, including:

Conveyors Interior/Exterior Buildings Electronic Control Panels Power Transmission Equipment (motors gearboxes bearings) Vibratory screeners and Vibratory Feeders Air Density Separators Eddy Current Separators Drying Equipment Feed Hoppers Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment

Full Training will be given as necessary, Our client also provides a large workshop with welding bays and fabrication equipment

Job Description:

The main tasks involved in this role will be:

  • To carry out all work within company Health and Safety procedures and systems, and enthusiastically contribute to the continual development of these systems.
  • To assist with the review of existing and creation of new Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • General maintenance duties, both proactive and reactive.
  • Welding, both stick and MIG.
  • Complete set work and preventative maintenance routines as required.
  • Carry out process improvements works.
  • Work with other engineers across the site in order to compete all the, plant maintenance and to meet all Health & Safety Standards.
