About the Role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on groundbreaking projects, helping to shape the future of industry-leading products. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance and reliability of products, ensuring they meet both customer needs and industry regulatory standards.

Key Tasks:

  • Mechanical design, analysis and qualification activities for new and existing products.
  • Perform engineering assessments, calculations and evaluations to ensure product compliance.
  • Develop mechanical specifications and select appropriate components.
  • Plan and execute physical test campaigns, documenting and reporting findings.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver engineering solutions.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement, helping to enhance product design and performance.
  • Ensure all projects meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Work within an established project management framework to deliver high-quality results on time.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas or similar).
  • Experience using 3D CAD and able to produce calculations on designs
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application.
  • Experience in mechanical design, testing and analysis.
  • Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience of qualification and validation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
