Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client Stellantis, Vauxhall, a leading automotive manufacturing company based in Ellesmere Port. They are looking for multiple experienced Production Operative and FLT drivers to join their team starting on 2nd January 2025.

As an essential part of operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production runs smoothly.

Pay and Benefits

Basic pay of £14.04 per hour for FLT, and £14.29 per hour for Production Operative, with added shift allowance for rotational work.

Shift allowance ranges from 11% - 18.44%

Over time Saturday Time and half , Sunday Double Time

Hours: must be flexible across different shift as pattern will be 0700 - 1500 , 1500 - 2250, 2250 - 0700 Monday to Friday (Must be flexible for any as shifts are subject to change at anytime for business needs)

Key Duties

  • Working on a fast paced moving assembly line
  • Assembling various parts on to vehicles
  • Checking part quality prior to shipping
  • Moving of pressed panels to rails
  • Prepping Vehicles prior to Paint work
  • Working on feet all day with lifting involved
  • FLT will be predominantly FLT, but will need to get off FLT through shift to do other duties relating to the role.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, Automotive desirable.
  • Flexible to work either rotating shift pattern of Days / Afternoons and Nights, Shifts and departments can change with business needs, so Must be flexible for all.
  • Transport to be able to get to and from site as no public transport will accommodate the shift pattern or location

In addition to this, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work well as part of a team and independently. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
