Rough Terrain Fork Lift Truck Driver - Cheshire (CH65)

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Rough Terrain FLT Driver to join and strengthen our clients existing team on a 3-week project in Chesire - both day and night shift opportunities are available.

What to expect from the role?

  • 12-hour shifts - day and night shift available
  • 18.00 per hour for the first 8 hours
  • 25.20 overtime rate
  • 32.40 Sunday rate
  • Full-time temporary contract

Working as s Rough Terrain Fork Lift Truck Driver, your main duties will include:

  • Carrying out manual procedures, with a key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
  • Manoeuvring hoover bin and pallets with drums from below the vacuum unit and place them on the weighing scales to be weight and labelled
  • Move the bins and drums to a lay down area
  • Work as a team with other crew members i.e. put lids on drums, banding securing the drums
  • Keep work area clean and tidy
  • Paperwork verifications and stock control
  • Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
  • General warehouse duties and housekeeping

The successful candidate must possess a valid FLT Licence, have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and have an understanding of FLT practice.
