Hays Education are working in exclusive partnership with Primary School across Ellesmere Port, supporting them with their day-to-day and short-term / long-term recruitment needs.

As an ECT / Instructor teacher working with Hays, you can find work that fits around you and your commitments.

We are currently looking for second and third year ECT / PGCE students to work from Easter half-term onwards in the Ellesmere Port area. This can help students to network in the local area and get their skills known to local schools in preparation for the September term.

This time last year, we experienced a surge in demand for supply teachers and instructors across Ellesmere Port and predict a busier, more productive year this September.

Your new company.

You will be working for a specialist education agency who works exclusively with primary schools across Ellesmere Port, supporting them with their short-term and long-term teaching cover. You will be able to select assignments that fit around you, working in EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You will also be offered long-term assignments which could leave to permanent teaching opportunities. You can be paid attractive daily rates and be paid to scale for long-term assignments.

Your new role.

As a teacher, you will be supporting primary schools with short-term daily supply and long-term bookings will incorporate full teaching roles and responsibilities. You will maintain professional standards and can also work towards your ECT induction in longer-term roles. You can teach as an instructor until you obtain QTS and gain excellent teaching experience to help build your career.

What you'll need to succeed.

To be successful with your application you will need:

  • You will have experience working with children within the last 3 years.
  • You should feel confident working with children in small groups.
  • You will need to be professional at all times, as well as friendly and enthusiastic.
  • You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, children and parents.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to acquire one through Hays.
  • Two references from placement references.
