Exciting Opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) in a primary school in Ellesmere Port & Wirral!Are you a dedicated and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Two primary schools in Ellesmere Port and Wirral are seeking a TA to provide one-to-one learning support. This rewarding role will be scheduled for Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible.

Location: Ellesmere Port & WirralWorking Hours: 8:30 - 3:30

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support to students to enhance their learning and development
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing engaging and differentiated activities to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to create personalised learning plans for supported students

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
  • BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing)

Qualifications are desirable but not essential

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
