Key Details:

  • Location: Ellesmere Port, with occasional site visits.
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Mechanical/Process Design Lead.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in ATEX and mechanical design for hazardous areas.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with the design life cycles of complex projects.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience in the process, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support in weekly project meetings.
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure project delivery.
  • Conducting design reviews and supporting in-house manufacturing.
  • Specifying project materials.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Managing and approving project drawings.
  • Assisting in sales quotes and project handovers.
  • Offering support for build queries and promoting performance improvements.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary: £45K per annum.
