Key Details:
- Location: Ellesmere Port, with occasional site visits.
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Contract: Permanent
- Reporting to: Mechanical/Process Design Lead.
Requirements:
- Expertise in ATEX and mechanical design for hazardous areas.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with the design life cycles of complex projects.
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards.
- Experience in the process, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support in weekly project meetings.
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure project delivery.
- Conducting design reviews and supporting in-house manufacturing.
- Specifying project materials.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Managing and approving project drawings.
- Assisting in sales quotes and project handovers.
- Offering support for build queries and promoting performance improvements.
Pay & Benefits:
- Salary: £45K per annum.
- Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service, plus your birthday off and an option to purchase additional leave.
