Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage a team of operators, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting production targets, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • Ensure all staff adhere to company health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements and accident/incident reporting.
  • Support the induction and training of new employees, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and update training records as required.
Production Management
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe working practices.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on production performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain optimal efficiency and communication.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Train and supervise team members on quality procedures and SOPs.
  • Enforce quality control measures, ensuring any defects are rectified by the responsible team member.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture within the team.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the production team to maintain high performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage attendance, absenteeism, and compliance with company policies.
  • Promote high standards through leadership by example.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimisation
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Work collaboratively with management to implement best practices.

Qualifications & Experience
