People Partner

Salary: £40,448 Per Annum

Location: Ellesmere Port / Hybrid

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be working with this innovative social enterprise, this time in their search for a People Partner. This role will function to support in the delivery of the businesses corporate objectives and collaborate effectively with the business to provide an exceptional end to end HR Service.

Main duties of the role include:

  • Providing managers with case management advice and guidance (disciplinary and grievance, capability, performance, attendance etc)
  • Providing support to managers on transformational change management initiatives as required.
  • Ensuring all people policies are monitored, reviewed and updated in accordance with legislative changes and culture.
  • Implementing recruitment best practice to promote effective talent management strategies in partnership with the Senior People Partner
  • Implementing succession planning outcomes as determined by the business
  • Supporting and advising managers with organisational changes i.e. TUPE (both in and out of the business), restructures and staff changes.
  • Ensuring that the Recruitment policy is always adhered to

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Member CIPD status Level 5 or 7.
  • Experience of providing sound HR advice and support to Senior Managers
  • Sound understanding of payroll procedures
  • Experience of working with recognised Trade Unions
  • Solid business partnering skills and experience of developing people plansknowledge
  • Excellent experience in all aspects of employee relations
  • Industry experience is not essential for this role but may be beneficial
