My client has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join their team.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the maintenance activities to ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely while adhering to all COMAH regulatory requirements.

The Role:
  • Create and prioritise maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment with critical plant operations.
  • Identify preventive and corrective maintenance requirements for materials, equipment and parts
  • Assisting with vendor management.
  • Regularly update schedules based on unforeseen changes, resource availability, or urgent maintenance needs.
  • Oversee financial obligations and third-party spend payment procedures.
  • Assisting in the execution of both planned and emergency corrective actions.
  • Organising and managing planned expenditures so that all tasks are appropriately financed, and invoices are paid on time.
  • Assisting with a variety of meetings pertaining to team building, delivery, schedule compliance, and safety.


The candidate:
  • Previous management or leadership experience in a maintenance role is essential
  • P6 scheduling would be advantageous
  • Strong MS office and ERP system understanding (SAP
  • Extensive knowledge of end-to-end Maintenance process
  • Detailed knowledge of materials management experience
