Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students across various subjects. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to engage students, and a passion for mentoring young minds.

Duties

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Educate students in the design technology department
  • Resistant materials, art and cookery (whichever is your preference)
  • Provide tutoring support to students who require additional assistance in their studies.
  • Employ behaviour management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
  • Facilitate laboratory sessions where applicable, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Mentor students, guiding them in their academic journey and personal development.
  • Proofread educational materials and student assignments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.

ExperienceCandidates should possess relevant teaching qualifications along with experience in an educational setting a DBS or willing do complete a new one (we can help with this)
