Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curricula that meet the needs of all students.
- Educate students on the importance of physical fitness, health, and wellness.
- Provide instruction in various sports and physical activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Coach students in sports, helping them develop their skills and teamwork abilities.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behaviour management strategies.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities related to physical fitness and sports.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and personal growth among students.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in teaching or coaching sports is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students of varying abilities effectively.
- Organisational skills to plan lessons, manage resources, and coordinate activities efficiently.
- A commitment to promoting physical education as an essential component of overall student development.
