Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Pay Rate £21.68
Salary £50,726
Location: Ellesmere Port
Aspion are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our long standing client in the Wirral area. You will be required to carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety in accordance with company standards and relevant legislation.
Duties/Skills
- Conveyor bearings, rollers, head drums and tension/track
- Taper locks and hydraulic motors
- Power screen/trommel work
- Screen changes on various equipment
- Light maintenance on (hired) vehicles
- Servicing on equipment
- -Chutes and hoppers that feed conveyors
Training will be given as necessary.
Skills required:
- 2 or more proven years’ experience of plant fitting and maintenance in an industrial environment
- Have an excellent understanding and commitment to safe working practices.
- Adhere to all aspects of H&S
- Good communication skills
- Good Multi-skilled knowledge range (Mechanically biased)
- Fabrication skills
- Able to work on own as well as part of a team
- Good reporting skills
Days 6.00am – 6.00pm (Able/willing to cover 4 on 4 off shifts as required days and nights
