Job title: Application Engineer
As Application Engineer you will design, quote and support customer solutions, ensuring the product meets their technical and functional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on product functionality, technical capabilities, and potential customizations
- Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions
- Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales process
- Develop 3D models using CAD software to create and modify engineering designs and components
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transform concepts into fully detailed 3D designs for manufacturing
- Develop quotations and other customer-facing technical materials in conjunction with sales teams
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical, agricultural, or related engineering
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.)
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools and techniques
- Experience with technical drawing software and standards
- Understanding of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
