As a Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee and elevate the culinary operations of our client's venue.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in menu planning, development, and execution with a focus on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients.
- Supervising and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain high culinary standards.
- Leading the preparation and service for large-scale weddings and events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance with all health regulations.
- Managing inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Developing innovative dishes and catering options that align with client preferences and event themes.
- Training and supporting junior chefs to foster growth and maintain a cohesive team dynamic.
- Acting as a leader in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring continuity in operations.
