Hours: Monday to Friday

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: HGV Technician
-
Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs on vacuum waste tankers
-
Identifying and reporting any further repair opportunities to your line manager
-
Completing compliance paperwork accurately and on time
-
Ensuring company vehicles are used safely and in line with policy
-
Maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism

Following all health & safety guidelines and procedures

Participating in ongoing training where required

Working flexibly – some weekend or shift work may be required
What We’re Looking For: HGV Technician
Required:
-
Experience working on tankers or HGVs (trailers, trucks, etc.)
-
Confident communicator with a can-do attitude
-
Basic computer skills and good record-keeping ability
-
Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
-
Comfortable working independently when needed
Preferred:
-
Background in hydraulics, pneumatics, plant, or similar heavy vehicle types
-
City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent qualifications
