Staffline is recruiting machine minders to work in Elm.

You must have your own transport to get to and from the site.

The rate of pay is:
- Day shift £13.80 per hour

Overtime is available after working 38.5 hours and is paid at:
- Day shift £17.25 per hour

As a machine minder, you will be required to work 4 on 4 off with additional overtime offered but not expected.

The shifts for this position are:
- Days, 10am to 10pm

Please note, that this is subject to change to cover and meet business requirements.

This is an ongoing position with a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Time at Work
As a Machine Minder, you will be responsible for operating and optimising a range of modern equipment, including multihead weighers, VFF baggers, tray sealers, and metal detectors, ensuring both safety and efficiency within the high-care area of the factory. You will complete all necessary food safety, quality, and health & safety checks, along with the required paperwork. Given the wide range of products manufactured on site, teamwork is vital to wash down the line, prepare for the next product, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

You will work alongside skilled colleagues, operating some of the most advanced equipment in the industry, and lead by example in overcoming day-to-day challenges.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail to ensure product orders are accurate. You will adhere to quality, safety, and technical procedures, promote effective teamwork, and represent the company with professionalism.

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English and have a good level of written English to complete paperwork accurately.

Previous experience operating similar equipment in the food industry is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
