The ideal candidate will work as a member of the ETP operations team, responsible for taking process samples, performing laboratory tests, and analysing, interpreting, and reporting results. Develop skills, knowledge, and experience to occasionally operate the effluent plant, including Anaerobic digestion, as needed.

Experience:
- Hold a full driver's license.
- Laboratory/analyticalexperience is essential.Preferable experience in laboratory environment and industrial water/effluenttreatment.
- High degree of self-motivation and determination to succeed, capable of working independently in all weather conditions and darkness, especially in winter.
- Physically able to lift samples (up to15kg) and carry samples some distance.
- Support dailyETPoperations, following procedures, and complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
- Knowledge ofwastewatertreatmentprocesslayout and sample point locations.
- Ability to perform all required laboratory tests and maintain up-to-dateprocessdata and records.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures, maintaining good housekeeping throughout the laboratory andplant.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare samples from the wastewater treatment plant for various laboratory tests, analyseresults, and report findings to the operations team.
- Develop knowledge to support plant operations.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company safety procedures, using PPE and gas monitoring equipment, and assisting with risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Comply with environmental management systems, report potential hazards, assist with investigations, and work to reduce the plant's environmental impact.
- Support optimal water and waste processes, contribute improvement ideas, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
